Global e-Membership:
Membership in Local SoL Communities

Join our Mailing list

Members of established SoL communities around the world may enjoy full member status for use of the interactive elements of the SoL website through participation in the Global e-Membership program. Global e-Membership builds SoL's knowledge creation capacity and enhances our network by creating a common database of members, a shared knowledge repository, and a coordinated calendar.

Global e-Members receive:

  • SoL's e-journal Reflections, with articles written by leaders in the field and sent by email
  • Online access to all current and past issues of Reflections
  • Access to contributed articles posted on the Reflections Emerging Knowledge Forum (EKF)
  • The opportunity to comment online on both feature articles and EKF submissions
And numerous opportunities to connect with the people and work of SoL:
  • Access to SoL's online member directory, and the ability to create a profile page in the directory where you may identify yourselves and connect with others who share your interest in organizational learning and change
  • The SoL FLASH, an e-newsletter with timely updates on SoL community events and news, as well as pointers to important developments in the field of organizational learning published every two months
  • Access to members-only documents in SoL's online library, a resource of organizational learning resources co-created by SoL and members of the SoL community
  • Notification of SoL events and publications prior to the general public
  • Discounts on SoL events and courses, and access to the proceedings of events
And space for collaborating and sharing your work with the world:
  • A community profile page, open to the public
  • A self-administered password protected community website where your group can share a calendar, a working document library, a discussion board which is linked to a community email listserve, as well as space for group news and announcements
Cost

If there is not a recognized SoL community in your area and you are interested in starting one, you can get more information at Start A SoL Community. Please contact Jean Macdonald if you have read this material and are interested in starting a SoL community.

The cost of e-membership per community is currently a minimum of $1,000 per year for up to 20 members, and then $50 each for every member per year in excess of 20 added to the group.

Newly forming fractals and communities in developing countries may apply for a reduction in fees consistent with our efforts to make appropriate "currency adjustments." If it is necessary for you to arrange special terms for your community please contact Sherry Immediato
