Start and End Time

The registration starts at 8:00 AM on the first day. The first three days of the course are scheduled from 8:30 AM - 6:00-7:00 PM; the last day will end at 1:00 PM . Please plan your travel accordingly. It is a condition of registration that you plan to attend the entire program. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Miho Kito.

For your commitment, the Stuart Foundation will cover all lodging and meals expenses (including dinner) for the duration of the workshop. Meals will include breakfast, lunch and dinner on September 20, 21 and 22 and breakfast and lunch on September 23. We recommend that all attendees check into the hotel on the day before the first day of the program due to the early start in the morning.


Participants in the workshop will only need to cover their travel cost to and from the meeting site. The Stuart Foundation is currently exploring whether partial stipends for travel can be awarded, but a final decision has not been made. Any participant or participant team who can pay for its own travel should do so. The stipends are intended for participants and participant teams who would otherwise not be able to attend the workshop. If you need a travel stipend please choose "Yes" in the stipend question field when you register.  


Terms and Conditions

Cancellations and Substitutions

All cancellations must be received in writing to Miho Kito. The Stuart Foundation and SoL North America will not be responsible for any loss incurred by the participant(s). You may arrange for a substitute participant at least one (1) week before the program. If you'd like to nominate a substitute, please contact Koua Franz, Stuart Foundation for approval. Should the Stuart Foundation and/or SoL North America need to cancel the program, there will be no reimbursement for booked flights or other travel or program-related expenses.
