Why
the 1st SoL Global Forum was held in Finland. Learn
about Finland's national strategy to become a knowledge society.
Highlights
and Memories - Powerpoint slides from the 1st Global Forum Closing session,
Saturday, June 14
In
five sets of parallel sessions over the three days, participants shared
stories and sought feedback about how they are applying organizational
learning tools and methodologies in private and public sector organizations.
Regional
tensions and opportunities were highlighted as some sessions shifted to
a broader cross-community learning focus. And research was presented in
the areas of innovation, leadership development, education and large scale
change.
Several
learning groups have committed to sustaining the energy captured in these
sessions by continuing to work together on these issues over time.
SoL
is grateful to our hosts from SoL Finland who graciously welcomed us to
their beautiful country while modeling an enterprise and integrity to
which the whole SoL community can aspire in building our future together.
