The goals for Greenhouse III are:
- To learn from collaborative research that has already been exploring the challenges of combining relevance and rigor in research related to organizational learning and transformation.
- To foster partnerships for further collaborations among researchers, managers and consultants; and to continue the rich conversations from earlier SoL meetings.
- To inquire together into the challenges of balancing between the demands for fast action and the needs for deeper understanding of organizational processes.
The design for Greenhouse III (G3) will create settings for dialogue where participants can search together for better ways to understand and to aid organizational learning and transformation through collaborative research.
Attendance will be limited to 100 SoL and GWU members, and invitees.
We invite proposals from pairs and teams of practitioners and researchers who have worked together and who wish to present their results and their experience of grappling with issues related to combining RELEVANCE and RIGOR as a basis for dialogue sessions to explore these matters. We also invite proposals from those interested in being session moderators, panelists, or formal discussants. Although, the official deadline for submitting proposals has passed, we still welcome additional submissions for review. Proposal guidelines and forms are available here.
