Hotel & Logistics

Start & End Times for G4
The Greenhouse meeting will begin at 11:30am on Tuesday, January 13 with lunch and registration and will conclude on January 15 at 3:00pm. Please make your travel plans accordingly. Click here for more scheduling information.

Hotel Information:
If you are coming in from out of town, we have blocked a limited number of rooms at the Holiday Inn in Brookline, MA. Please call the hotel directly at 617-277-1200 to make your reservation; tell them you are with the Society for Organizational Learning meeting to receive the reduced rate of $99.00/ per night. Please make sure you make your reservation by December 20, 2003. We can not guarantee that there will be availability after December 20. The Holiday Inn Brookline is located at 1200 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA.

Parking:
Parking will cost $15 / night for participants staying at the hotel. If you are planning to drive to the Holiday Inn for the reception and dinner on Tuesday night (but not staying at the hotel) the Holiday Inn will be providing complimentary parking on a space available basis. Street parking is also available. (However, please note that overnight street parking is not permitted.)

Greenhouse Meeting Location:
The meeting will take place at the Carroll School of Management (Fulton Hall) on the Chestnut Hill (main) campus of Boston College in Newton, MA. Please click here for directions.

Airport Information:
The closest airport is Logan International Airport. Back Bay Coach provides transportation from the airport to the hotel. They charge $14 for the first person and $10 for each person thereafter. Their phone number is 888-222-5229.

Transportation between from the Holiday Inn and Boston College:
The Holiday Inn will provide shuttle service to and from Boston College. However, there will not be transportation before the start of the meeting on Tuesday, January 13. You will need to provide your own transportation to Boston College at the start of the conference on Tuesday.

Confirmation Packet:
You will receive an email confirming your attendance a month prior to the meeting. This email will provide additional meeting information.

Meals:
All meals are included in your registration fee beginning with lunch on Tuesday, January 13 and ending with lunch on Thursday, January 15. All meals will be served at Boston College except for the special kick-off reception and dinner on Tuesday night, which will be held at the Holiday Inn.

Meeting Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be received in writing before December 12, 2003. The amount paid, minus a $50 processing fee will be refunded for cancellations received before December 12. NO refunds will be granted after this date. However, you may arrange for a substitute participant any time up December 29. Please notify Jackie Tabb of any changes as soon as possible.

Videotaping & Web Posting Agreement:
Sessions at the SoL Greenhouse will be audio and videotaped for posting on the SoL website. Audio and video will include images and comments from session presenters and session participants. In addition, we plan to post session notes, handouts and photographs taken at the meeting on the SoL website.

By attending the Greenhouse you are giving implied consent to the recording of the sessions as stated above and to their distribution over the SoL website for the benefit of fellow-members and other interested parties.

There will be designated areas in all sessions that will not be videotaped, but still audio taped. These areas will be clearly marked. If you do not want to be videotaped, please seek seating in these areas. You may also inform Jackie Tabb at 617-300-9560.
