-To our friends and colleagues in the SoL Global Coaching Community (GCC)

We would like to invite you to participate with us in a Structured Case Review process on a call on 4 March 2013. The call is scheduled to accommodate members who will be located on that day in Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand(If you are in North America, please expect another message about a Structured Case Review call for a new group that we will be forming.)

The call is scheduled at 7:00- 8:30 AM UK, 8:00- 9:30 AM Central European winter time, 3:00-4:30 PM; Singapore, 5.00-6.30 PM Sydney, 7:00-8.30 PM Auckland.

What is the Structured Case Review Process? It is a 90 minute meeting, initially by phone during which one of us presents a case about which we have questions. Participants listen and then practice their coaching skills to help the case owner with his or her case. The process provides everyone the opportunity to reflect on their own practice and to help build our coaching community in the process.

History: The SoL GCC started a group in May. After three sessions, members asked to have the group continue to meet monthly. .If you have attended meetings of the SoL Coaching Community of Practice, or have taken the course Coaching from a Systems Perspective, you may be familiar with the process.

The call will be facilitated by Mary Moore and Tara Kimbrell Cole.  Tara participated in the first group. Both Mary and Tara are consultant members of Founding SoL and members of the SoL Coaching Community of Practice, now the Sol GCC. Both have also completed the SoL course, Coaching from a Systems Perspective.

We hope that the sequence of calls will create a bond, as we come to know each other through reflection on our work.  The longer term objective is for members of these initial groups to organize other different groups and repeat the process, connecting more and more of the SoL GCC members.

Please write Mary ( and Tara (, if you are interested.

Details about the call in number will follow.

Since space is limited to six participants, please be clear about your degree of commitment to participate when you reply (e.g. have questions, highly interested, or ready to commit). We will reply to confirm your participation. We fully intend to run this process periodically (to be determined by those interested).  If you can't participate this time, please let us know if you would be interested to do so another occasion.

Documentation* on the process (for each doc there is a link to a Word file and to a PDF):

About the conference calls: All should be able to access via land lines, mobiles or Skype.  [Please do not plan to use a speaker phone.]

This will be a great way to start the New Year!! Mary and Tara are excited about this call, since it will be a way for SoL GCC members to connect.

Wishing you  the best for 2013!

Rita Kowalski  (for Rick and Rita)
