Special Features: 9/27 Project Incubator

What to Expect

We are inviting current and prospective members of SoL to come together to collaboratively create a set of activities and ambitions that we'll all be motivated to pursue during 2013 and beyond. Become a part of the exciting future of SoL North America as an active and committed learning community.

Our first two Project Incubators in November 2012 and June 2013 were great success and attracted over 80 participants with a number of projects coming out of it. Three of which are described in more detail in the right-hand column.

The SoL NA Incubator will bring together organizations, consultants, and researchers across the SoL network to incubate projects that are important to them and will make a difference in the world. It's a great opportunity to gather with an energetic group of people committed to creating a new horizon. Initiate or work on the kind of project that you are most passionate about and will make a difference in the world. Bring your ideas, challenges, dreams and opportunities to the Project Incubator and see what exciting outcomes the collective intelligence creates. Click the image to enlarge.

Background

The Incubator process is designed to build off the SoL (NA) Strategy Matrix, a set of themes and domains that are distinctive to the SoL community. This matrix was generated during conversations with Peter Senge over the course of the year.

What's Next

Our success with the Project Incubator has the Council imagining many more to follow and we encourage any of you interested in participating or hosting one to contact Michael Sales.  For example, we imagine this methodology as powerful for organizations and communities of all sorts and we’ll need the participation of members to help us facilitate and grow emerging projects.

Project Incubator - November 2012
