Project Incubator: Testimonial
Share |

I hadn't initially planned on pitching my self-assessment approach to organizational sustainability when I showed up to the SoL Project Incubator this past June in Ashland, MA; however, I quickly saw it as a unique opportunity to:

  1. Get practice pitching the idea,
  2. Leverage the collective intelligence of participants, and
  3. Enlist participants' helping identifying potential pilot organizations to test and improve the method.

So I decided to pitch the idea. I'm glad I did so. I was thoroughly impressed by the richness of the conversation in our small interest group. The questions the group asked helped round out my thinking as to what might be important to someone considering a sustainability effort; the ideas I received in terms of marketing and identifying a pilot organization were helpful, and the energy the conversation created was inspiring.

I would highly recommend pitching a project at a future SoL Project Incubator to anyone who wants to test or further develop an idea or concept that is important to them, the discipline of organizational learning, or those we wish to serve.
