The LARGE SCALE CHANGE Community of Interest This community of interest and practice exists for members of SoL who are concerned with improving our ability to enable significant (or radical, profound or transformative) change beyond the local or micro level, where it typically begins. We feel the need to understand better the effect of larger scale and longer term sustainability on the dynamics of organizational change and resistance. Historically the group began at the SoL Annual Members' Meeting in June 2004, in Cambridge, Mass., at the session on "Four Cases of Large Scale Change" where we presented some initial findings from a collaborative study with four SoL member companies and where the founder-members reflected on these findings and issues. This group has a private work space and document library on this web site and its own listserve. This profile or prospectus is offered (without group input) as a starting place. Revisions to follow, I expect. New members are invited to join. Please contact me, Barry Sugarman, indicating the nature of your work and aspirations in this area and where you hold SoL membership, There is no charge to join this group.
