Welcome to the Women Leading Sustainability (WLS) Workgroup! We are part of the Society for Organizational Learning (SoL) Sustainability Consortium. Our goal in meeting is to provide a forum where the women from the Sustainability Consortium can be in dialogue together - over the phone, and in person at the meetings. The original impetus was observing the high percentage of women executives who are involved in sustainability work - this contrasts with relatively low percentages in other executive contexts. Since its inception, the Women Leading Sustainability discussion group has convened periodically to share ideas and experiences in our work on sustainability. Early on in our conversations, storytelling and connecting with children emerged as ideas for sharing and tapping into the needs of future generations in a very real way. We are using this website as a repository for stories and a place to share ideas about things we can do in the name of sustainability. If you are interested in WLS, contact wls@solsustainability.org.
