Frank Schneider, President & CEO

Frank Schneider is responsible for ongoing operations and strategic partnerships by working closely with SoL North America's growing global community of organizations, individuals and networks committed to fundamental systems change and advancing the state-of-art in building learning organizations. Frank joined SoL North America in 2001 and most recently has been responsible for enrollment and production of all the SoL North America capacity building workshops. Previously Frank’s work focused on engagement of members and clients along with business development.

Prior to joining SoL North America in 2001, Frank was a credit analyst for business loans at Deutsche Bank AG in Germany. In this role he worked with managers of German and French business clients and consulted with several start-up clients assisting them to expand nationwide. Subsequently, he became a Human Resource Manager in one of Germany's largest research centers taking responsibility for 900 employees of various scientific-technical and commercial professions in 12 of the center's research departments. Frank received his undergraduate degree from universities in Germany and France and completed internships in several multinational companies in Luxembourg, France, and Canada. As a member of AIESEC he organized numerous workshops on developing communication skills and understanding management and leadership in turbulent times.

Frank received his MBA from Boston College, where he was awarded with the Edgar F. Huse Memorial Award for his outstanding contribution to the field of organization studies. Frank has published articles in The Systems Thinker and Reflections: The SoL North America Journal, and is a member of the Honors Society Beta Gamma Sigma. Judith Swasey, Business Manager

Judith Swasey is responsible for the day to day financial, human resource, and business operations of SoL North America. Judith joined SoL NA in 2011 with a strong background in non-profit accounting. Before joining SoL NA, Judith was an independent full charge bookkeeper servicing non-profit clients in metro Boston since 2006. Judith received her B.A. from Boston College, M. Ed, from the University of MA Boston, and her D.C. from Sherman College. She practiced as a Chiropractor for over fifteen years. Contact Judith at +1.617.300.9530 or jswasey[at] 


Miho Kito, Program and Marketing Associate 

Originally from Japan, Miho has worked in the banking industry and as an Organizational Development & Human Resource Management consultant. She completed her masters degree in Organizational Leadership and worked in higher education for several years before joining SoL North America as a Program and Marketing Associate in 2015. 


Diane Nakashian, Executive Assistant to Dr. Peter Senge

Diane Nakashian, is an Executive Assistant at SoL North America supporting Peter Senge. In this position she manages Peter's calendar and works with Anne Starr to coordinate Peter's public speaking engagements and travel arrangements. Diane previously worked for Dialogos and Innovation Associates/AD Little in a similar position and was the Office Manager for the IBM PC User Group of the Boston Computer Society. Contact Diane at +1.617.300.9550 or diane[at]



SoL North America Constitution and By-Laws

SoL North America is governed by a constitution informed by its mission and principles.

SoL North America Council of Trustees

The SoL North America Council of Trustees is the formal decision-making body for SoL, Inc., the stewards for SoL's name and trademark worldwide, and a forum for strategic deliberations. This group was formed initially as a transition council and will serve to complete the transition from SoL Inc becoming SoL North America and building a strategic relationship with Global SoL as it relates to member services provided to the SoL NA community worldwide. This work has been completed and the Council has been re-elected to serve until June 30th, 2016.
